When did my baby get so big!? She is officially wearing 6-9 month sleepers now and I am so proud. The little peanut was in the 3rd percentile for height and weight at birth, skinny and sleepy, she would not stay awake to eat in the beginning. I know I post pics of breastfeeding often and it may look effortless now but it didn't start out that way. Exclusively breastfeeding is not for everyone and fed is always best. For me it was a lot of patience, perseverance, and late night googling. I breastfed her through her first 9 days in the NICU even though she wasn't sucking or consuming much it was important for us to bond in that way and I knew eventually she would get the hang of it. I breast fed, pumped and bottle fed my breast milk to make sure she was getting enough until I knew she was just from me. This chubby girl is climbing the percentile ladder now and man does she love to eat! #proudmama

On of our favorite 📚 books! The strangest feeling came over me the first time I read this book to my daughter. When it says "and a quiet old lady who was whispering hushhhh" as soon as I read that word "hush" I felt my mom there reading the words to me when I was a child. Baby #nutrition. We started solids about 2-3 weeks ago and she has loved everything so far. First was applesauce then carrots and pears! This one was a mix of purée sweet potatoes and spinach! 💪🏻she took it like a champ! Oh and papaya has been a big favorite as well! This girl is a foodie 🍎🍌🍐🍈🍃

A sleepless long night being awake with #lillexi. She had 6 month shots yesterday and broke into a fever last night. As a first time mom it's easy to worry about every little thing even though it's a normal reaction you can't help but not sleep and cuddle them all night. Thankful for my pharmacist sister @smilingfouru for equipping my baby supplies with infant Tylenol and every possible other remedy I might need. 👌💕
